WHEREAS
it is the policy of the Inter American Press Association to obtain as much information as possible on complex court proceedings that may prejudice freedom of speech and of the press

THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE IAPA RESOLVES
to send a special mission to gather as much information as possible about the Calmell Solar case, and forward it to the Committee on Freedom of the Press and Information for appropriate action.
